DJI has officially unveiled the Mavic 4 Pro, representing a generational leap in consumer drone technology. The new flagship features a revolutionary triple-camera system including a 1-inch CMOS main sensor, a medium-format telephoto lens, and an infrared thermal imaging camera — all mounted on a stabilized gimbal platform.
The Mavic 4 Pro introduces DJI's next-generation APAS 6.0 obstacle avoidance system powered by an onboard neural processing unit. This enables fully autonomous waypoint missions in complex environments without GPS dependency. Flight time extends to 52 minutes thanks to a new silicon-carbon battery cell design.
Pricing starts at $2,199 for the standard kit, with the Fly More Combo available at $2,899. Pre-orders begin August 1st with shipping expected by mid-August 2026.
